I've been in West Darfur again for the last 2.5 weeks. Aprils newsletter has been up for a while, under Personal Site > Joe in Sudan in the drop-down menus above.

I've been learning loads of Flash recently and am making another Flash game. The code is getting complex but I'm winning at making it.
It's so nice to be back in the UK for 2 weeks holiday. Then 7 months more of Sudan work.

For your fun and entertainment, I have put up 2 more loads of photos...all from my trip to Nuba in Sudan. See the 'Joe in Sudan' pages.
Also I've finished making a new Flash game called "Shoot". Its got 3 levels of increasing difficulty and of different styles. Click here to go and play it. Hmm guess I should make a new search row for the animations and games.

I've just been to West Darfur for the last 2 weeks. Lots of work, it was quite draining! It's good to be back in Khartoum. One of my colleagues there Rowan, does fire breathing. I didn't think it a good idea to try in Sudan, because I have no idea of the quality of paraffin.

Just before Christmas I was invited to dinner with the family of 2 girls from the youth group I help at.
I ended up giving 1 to 1 juggling lessons. They both made much progress and were warned they'd end up on this website. Just to embarrass them, I'll tell you that they are called Beth and Beverly!
Plastic bags full of sand and then put into socks made excellent juggling balls! Far better than the grapefruit we also used.

So many people come to this website after searching on google for fire safety or how to fire breath - i think i should give it a link in flash lights or something!

The Sudan page now has photos up and 5 videos.
I went camping in the desert with the youth group I help out with. No photos of that up yet. It was excellent, but cold in the night! I piled the sand onto me to keep myself warm. In the morning I discovered that a snake had slithered right by me!

Hello from Sunny Sudan. I've been here a week so far. It's hot, dusty and full of people speaking Arabic. Feels good to be here though!
Expect lots of pics to be up on the personal section of the site! I was still tired from the flight when I took this pic on the roof of the Medair flat.

Tomorrow is my last day working at CPM call centre. Why? I'm going off to do relief work again, this time in Sudan! My post will be Logistics Coordinator - quite a big job!
The call centre work was fairly dull at best, though looking through photos I can see all the funny things people can get up to in any circumstance and place. I've put new photos up under CPM2, 3 and 4.

I helped with the youth at Faith Camp and my Church's youth at Soul Survivor conference. Excellent fun! The best weeks of my year!
I even bumped into a poi swinger with expensive LED poi. I had a go of course, but also got a couple of nice photos.
I was so rusty at my poi swinging, I think I need to practice again.

Festival notice - Crawley Circus Festival 2007 is getting near! It's on 11th to 12th August and this year has a 'Medieval theme', so come dressed as a Kings fool or something!
For more info go to the Circus Wurx website. I used to be part of this group when I lived in Crawley, and alas kind of just disappeared when I moved to Aylesbury.
I probably won't be at the festival this year...but hey I may go down for a day. I've been before and it's good fun! I even came second in a club joggle (a race while you have to juggle clubs the whole way). I got a juggling ball as a prize!
The highlight for me is the Jugging Wars, where everyone juggles what they like and you have to knock over/ steal peoples juggling items, so they can't juggle anymore and have to go and sit out. The winner is the last one to stay juggling.

I've moved house to Mursley, 12 miles away from Aylesbury. Genuine friendly people as far as I can tell. Am hoping I'll manage to work on JugglingJoe.co.uk more.
I've put shortened version of my Protrix:: Dreamweaver tutorial course on www.download.com. Within 3 days 42 people have downloaded it. Crikey! Now hopefully they'll want to buy the full course! (Update - within 10 days, over 200 people!)

Oooo look it's gone all black. Have updated the web design type software to Adobe Web Premium CS3 - new fun stuff I'm playing around with and will sometime get round to doing more than changing the background colour to black.

I've posted it on ebay, but they charge more than i'd thought, so I'm trying to work out how to get paypal on my site to buy direct more easily than cheque's.
Yeah, it does mean that I can start doing more about Jugglingjoe.co.uk now! It's funny how the no. of people coming and spending time on this site is increasing.
The referrals from search engines are weird sometimes...someone apparently looked up 'personal background' in msn search, and they came here from that!!??
Oh lastly - Question for you Jugglers... (Well...I suppose i mean 'readers' but 'Jugglers' sound better. What do you think of this background of red and then yellow writing? Is it too bright and you like a less 'bright' look, or do you think these colours encourage you to read and join in, in the circus skills that are listed?
